[de] Der zweite Teil des Katalogs umfasst Rückblicke auf einzelne Phasen in Gloria Zoitl’s umfangreichem Schaffen seit den 1980er Jahren. Anlaß für diese Werksübersicht ist die Ausstellung „Something remains, Gloria Zoitl and friends“, in der auch ein kleiner Teil ihrer früheren Arbeiten zu sehen ist.
Die Anfänge von Zoitl’s Werk sind geprägt von verschiedenen Versuchen der zeichnerischen Abstraktion. Dazu schreibt sie im Jahr 1995: „Sie haben sie wieder entdeckt, die Undurchschaubarkeit des Ganzen. Sie haben die Kontrolle verloren über ihre Ordnungen. Ihre Strukturen und Gesetze wurden nichtlinear, sie sprechen von Chaos. Ich beschäftige mich schon lange mit dem Schiefen: Kreativität = die Summe des Unerwarteten . . . aus der Figur entsteht der Bogen, das Stück, der Gestus und umgekehrt.“
[en] The second part of the catalog contains retrospections of individual phases in Gloria Zoitl’s extensive work since the 1980s. Reason for this overview of works is the exhibition «Something remains, Gloria Zoitl and friends», in which also a small part of her previous work can be seen.
The beginnings of Zoitl’s work is marked by various attempts of drawing abstraction. She writes in 1995: «They have rediscovered the opacity of the whole. They have lost control over their orders. Their structures and laws got not linear, they speak of chaos. I am working since long with the Leaning: Creativity is the sum of the unexpected… “from the figure comes the bow, the piece, the gesture and vice versa“
[ital] La seconda parte del catalogo comprende retrospettive di diverse fasi dell’ampio lavoro di Gloria Zoitl dal 1980. Il motivo per questo compendio di opere è la mostra «Qualcosa rimane, Gloria Zoitl e amici», in cui anche una piccola parte del suo precedente lavoro può essere visto.
Gli inizi del lavoro di Zoitl sono segnati da vari tentativi di astrazione nel disegno. A tal fine scrive nel 1995: «Hanno ritrovato l’opacità del tutto. Hanno perso il controllo dei loro ordini. Le loro strutture e le leggi sono diventate non lineari, parlano di caos. Sto lavorando a lungo con il Pendente: La Creatività è la somma del inaspettato… “dalla figura si forma l’arco, il pezzo, il gesto e viceversa «
